Washington Driver Education is Changing
Beginning January 1, 2027, Washington will begin expanding driver education requirements to first-time drivers ages 18-21.

Our school's foundation comes from decades of public safety and driver training experience. From serving as a corrections officer and Tribal Police Officer to providing specialized driver safety instruction, our co-founder witnessed firsthand the devastating consequences of unsafe driving.
Those experiences inspired the creation of Take The Wheel Driving School in Eatonville, Washington, with one mission: helping every driver get home safely.
Today, that mission guides our approach to driver education. Through small classes, hands-on instruction, and patient, personalized training, our team is committed to helping students develop awareness, confidence, and responsible driving habits.

Adult Driver Training
I've dedicated decades of my life to safety, I went from a corrections officer, a tribal police officer, a driving safety consultant working with first responders/pro drivers all the way to beginner drivers.
The crashes I got called to as a Tribal Police Officer still haunt me to this day, Which is why I opened this school. Because I want everyone to get home safely.
