Tracy Marin has over 25 years of dedicated experience working in vehicle licensing for the state of Washington. Much of her career was spent working in two vehicle licensing subagent offices, in both Pierce and King counties. Since she started in the vehicle licensing industry, Tracy has always aspired to work for the county and joined the King County Licensing’s team in 2019. Tracy started out as a customer service representative but quickly assumed the Inventory Specialist role. In this role, she managed the inventory needs of 21 vehicle licensing offices in King County, the largest inventory consumer in the state of Washington – the first being Washington State Department of Licensing! It wasn’t long after being in this role when her strong work ethic and determination led to becoming the Supervisor of the King County Vehicle and Vessel Licensing office, overseeing a team of 12 people.

Tracy believes in providing excellent customer service through positivity, professionalism, and with a continuous improvement mindset. Although she leaves behind decades of experience and a strong passion towards vehicle licensing, Tracy enthusiastically awaits new adventures in learning all things related to driver licensing.

Luis Marin, the Owner and Founder of Take The Wheel Driving School and Marin's Safety Consultant, boasts an impressive 20-year tenure in the safety industry, specializing in Corporate Fleet and Driver training for the last 17 years. His journey commenced as a correctional officer, where he swiftly rose to the ranks of the incident response team and Shift Lieutenant, earning respect in the field. Transitioning to a tribal officer role, Luis continued to excel in public safety.

With robust leadership skills, Luis is a Certified driving instructor, certified trainer, certified DOL tester, and a Washington state certified fleet trainer. Notably, he stands out as one of the few experts who can deliver training programs proficiently in both English and Spanish.

Throughout his career, Luis has crisscrossed the United States and parts of Canada, delivering impactful Fleet and safety programs. His influence extends to working with local law enforcement officers, collaborating with major insurance agencies, and training numerous private and County employees.

Luis' commitment to safety has not only enriched his career but has left a lasting, positive impact on the organizations and individuals he has worked with. His training programs consistently contribute to improved safety records, reduced incidents, and heightened competency among participants.
